This is the 4pin Fan Male connector used to make Fan cable extensions. Our connectors are the highest quality and have a deep Black color. Our connectors also feature a “no wing” design eliminating the unsightly and unneeded side clip. You may be wondering how is this possible? Well, we source our connectors directly from our manufacturer. This allows us to not only oversee the quality but cuts out the middleman so we can offer them to you at the lowest price around!

I bought several terminals and connectors from here and MOD-ONE, and so far I’ve found them to all be essentially, if not exactly, the same. However, the fan connectors are one thing I’ve found to be different, and I don’t care for the ones by MOD-ONE. Most connectors, whether the ones that come on fans, in cases, or these, have a narrow cutout on one side and a wide cutout on the other, through which the pin on that end is clearly visible. The MOD-ONE connectors instead have two narrow cutouts. The problem with that is it makes it so they won’t accept a typical/standard female connector, which has the ridge more in the center, versus the MOD-ONE versions which have that ridge closer to the edge. So any female connector will accept any male connector, whether it’s from there or elsewhere, but those male connectors will only accept female connectors from there, not other ones. As long as you’re connecting MOD-ONE to MOD-ONE, you’ll be fine, but personally I’d prefer, and recommend, using a universal connector so you don’t end up screwing yourself later if/when you need to connect a standard one to it. You could always cut/break/dremel the connector to make the gap bigger, but why.
