Our premium 1/4″ 3:1 heat shrink tailored just for the heatshrinkless style. Combining just the right wall thickness with heat tolerance makes this heat shrink easily to sleeve with. Many brands of heat shrink either are too thick or don’t stand up to heat well. This causes either a gummy mess or heat shrink that does not evenly melt the sleeve underneath.
This heatshrink is also great for making double wires! Use the heatshrink at a longer length (18-22mm) to shrink the sleeve over your solder joints.
A 4ft length can provide you with about 100 – 115 pieces!
This heatshrink is meant to be disposable. Generally a 10 – 15mm piece is all you need to use at a time. This heatshrink is commonly used with PET types of sleeve such as our Teleios sleeve.

Very good heatshrink ! I’m happy with it given I sleeve all my cables with the heatshrinkless style (which I prefer). It works fine with 16AWG and 18AWG cables (it shrinks enough I mean). Good product.

This stuff shrinks down to about the size of the 16 GA wire in my experience. I would probably use something different if wanting to leave the heatshrink on the wire.
HOWEVER, I used this for the heatshrinkless sleeving method with the Telios sleeve, (crazy right? using heatshrink for heatshrinkless. 😛 ) and it works PERFECTLY with the 16 GA wire for that purpose. I couldn’t see doing sleeving any other way.

used this sized heatshrink to sleeve my Zune headphones for an upcoming trip. the smaller heatshrink size would not get around the jack connector, but this one easily fit around. was very easily cut with 2 snips of the LC Flush Cutter.

Doesn’t form to the .16AWG wire all that well. Doesn’t melt the sleeving to the wire, so when you go to remove it the sleeving moves. My little 6 pack of 2:1 3/16 heatshrink does what I want it to do. This might help for splicing cables for 6+2 pin cables but that’s it. Not worth the money.
