This 1/4″ 3:1 White heat shrink is a perfect match for those using the heatshrinkless method, and do not want Black residue left over on your lighter colored cables.
This heatshrink is meant to be used for the heatshrinkless style only, and should be cut off after use.

The idea behind these is to long leave around black residue from doing heatshrinkless sleeving. In theory using a white sleeving would be better than black. In practice not so much. I found when using this with a lighter it was more likely to burn, leaving a charred residue that the black sleeving did not leave. Also, the 3/16 sleeving worked better for me when doing single wire 16 gauge than the 1/4 white. Black left no residue on the white sleeving I was using.
