Male ATX Terminal
Our Male ATX terminals for use with 18AWG or 16AWG wire. These terminals feature long wings that firmly bite into the insulation of the wire resulting in strong crimps. These terminals are thoroughly tested to work perfectly with our Ratchet Crimper.
The use for this terminal is any ATX, EPS, or PCIE Male Connectors.

Very sturdy and easy to use. Please be aware that if you are heavy-handed they will obviously bend about. Just be careful and don’t go mad with the crimpers!

I’m a bit desappointed with those terminals beacause they often bend at the base of the wings while precrimping. It affects the bite on the cable and it doesn’t look clean. I have to notice that the problem I describe doesn’t happen with the female ATX crimps (I think the wings are less long than the male’s).

These are perfect for crimping more than one wire to a pin or crimping oversized wire, such as thickly insulated #14, but, for smaller wire, especially the wire MAINFrame sells that has thinner insulation, there is a tendency for one of the insulation wings to fold back on itself and leave a projection hanging down below the pin. For those situations, pins with shorter insulation wings will work better. I’m keeping both these pins and ones with shorter wings on hand so I’m covered for any situation I may encounter.
